What's the difference between
family and alumni?
Families are those families that have at least one current Camp Fire USA member.
Alumni are past Killoqua Staff.
Where do I stay?
Once you follow the link to the on-line registration you will see a descriptions of all
the different types of buildings in camp. You will select you top three choices.
Housing is assigned on a first come first served -space available basis.
Alumni housing is assigned on a space available basis. You will share with others.
Remember to note who you would like to be with.
How much does
this cost?
It depends on your housing selection but ranges from $3 to $5 per person for overnight
accommodations. On-site staff may also
offer the climbing wall which is $5 per person and is limited to those
currently in grade 5 or higher.
Alumni are charged $5 per night per person for housing.
What
activities are there?
It depends. If you come during the two weekends held just for families and alumni
there is. You can boat, play games on our fields, hike in the woods, ride your bike
(bring a helmet!) or just sit by the lake. If you come any other weekend you can
plan an exciting adventure throughout the property.
Can I bring my pet?
No. Unfortunately, to offer a safe and exciting experience for everyone Killoqua
does not allow any pets to be brought on-site.
How many
people come to this?
It depends on the year but the crowd is never too large or overwhelming.
