Committee or Board Member
Be in on developing the “big picture” of Camp Fire USA programs!  As a youth representative on a committee or the board, you’ll have a voice in shaping where we’re headed. These committees have teen reps: Club Program and Training, Candy Sale, Jammin’ Jamboree, Camping, Auction, Marketing and Luncheon. Or apply to join the council Board of Directors and work with people from throughout the community. Spots are limited for these positions, but are open to all interested applicants!
Ages: Grades 10-12.
Timewise: Varies by committee; generally one-two meetings each month.

WoHeLo Award
One of the biggest challenges and accomplishments of your life!  The WoHeLo Award is Camp Fire USA’s highest honor – earning it means that you’ve worked hard. Every multi-step WoHeLo project is different because you design it. You’ll gain lots of skills and experience, like keeping yourself organized, meeting deadlines, working with youth and adults, making decisions and forming your own style of leadership. It’s a big project, with big rewards!Ages: Grades 9-12 (multi-year project).
Timewise:  An ongoing project during high school.

National Conference Participant
Be connected to Camp Fire USA across the country!   Attend a national Camp Fire USA conference -- you’ll represent this council and get to know lots of other young people. Get new ideas and share what you know. Totally fun and an eye-opening experience.
Ages: Open to all ages.
Timewise: 3-4 days, plus sharing afterward!

National Youth Advisory Council
Interested in guiding Camp Fire USA’s older youth programs on the national level?  Members are selected from around the country, and speak for all Camp Fire older youth. You’d work directly with Camp Fire’s national Staff and Board of Directors to set priorities for programming. An amazing chance to serve Camp Fire, to travel and to meet new people!
Ages: 16-21 years old.
Timewise:  A two-year term includes 3-4 meetings around the country, plus prep work.
