Counselor in Training & Wrangler in Training (CIT/WIT)
This dynamic program prepares high school juniors and seniors to be summer camp staff.  Take part in exciting workshops, shadow staff, work with lots of kids and grow as a camp leader.  Year 1 is a great introduction to how summer camp operates, combined with opportunities to define your own leadership style.  Year 2 has even more hands-on opportunities, including two sessions as a co-counselor or riding staff assistant in your “live-ins.”  Work closely with staff mentors, as you co-lead campers.  Successful completion of the program might lead to a future position on the summer staff.
Ages: Entering grades 11-12.
Timewise:  Four weeks of summer camp at Killoqua, each of two consecutive summers.
